Your Role:

As a Lead Software Engineer-Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for leading and implementing robust automation frameworks and strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our fintech products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to identify testing requirements, develop test plans, and execute automated tests throughout the software development lifecycle.

You will contribute and mentor the QA team by example with strong hands-on experience across a complex systems architecture. This is a senior role in which the successful candidate will drive some of our most complex projects in addition to providing and managing the strategic direction.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automation strategies, frameworks, and tools, including Robot Framework, to drive effective testing of our fintech products.
• Lead the design and development of automated test scripts and test suites, for web-based, API and mobile applications, ensuring high test coverage and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline, enabling rapid and reliable deployment.
• Conduct a thorough analysis of system requirements and technical specifications to identify areas for automation and define appropriate test scenarios.
• Perform hands-on testing of complex features and functionalities, utilizing both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Proactively identify and report defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and retesting.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the QA team, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation testing, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality is embedded throughout the development process, promoting a culture of quality excellence.
