The position requires an interim system vice president of pharmacy services to lead and optimize pharmacy operations. Key responsibilities include leading a comprehensive swot analysis aligned with ongoing pharmacy consulting efforts to drive efficiency, cost savings, and revenue enhancement; implementing an effective system-wide acute staffing model; optimizing specialty pharmacy operations; and assessing team structure to deliver swift, high-impact operational improvements.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, strategic pharmacy leader with large academic system experience who brings a strong sense of urgency, the ability to prioritize and innovate, and proven success leading through change in high-pressure or interim environments. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.

Requirements include a doctor of pharmacy (pharmd) from an acpe-accredited program required; advanced degree such as mba, mha, ms in health-system pharmacy administration, or mph preferred. Active pharmacist license required. Minimum of ten years of progressive pharmacy leadership experience, including system-level oversight within a large academic or complex health system; demonstrated experience with productivity improvement, cost reduction initiatives, specialty pharmacy operations, and 340b program management.
Pay details include a pay range of $230,000 - $250,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with fair market value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
