An interim lab services manager is needed to lead and oversee core laboratory operations. Reporting to the senior director of laboratory services, this leader will oversee a team of 24 FTEs. Key responsibilities include providing direct management and leadership for clinical operations of the core lab, ensuring high-quality standards, meeting accreditation requirements, and working with department leadership to manage resources in alignment with hospital and corporate policies. The ideal candidate will have versatile lab management experience, strong communication skills, be patient-care oriented, able to adapt quickly, and comfortable providing flexible coverage across multiple lab disciplines. Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Bachelor's degree required. Valid medical lab scientist (MLS) certification. Previous experience in clinical laboratory operations, including supervisory/management experience in a core lab setting; experience with unionized staff is strongly preferred.

Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with fair market value evaluation.
