The Position

The Director of Surgical Services will be responsible for overseeing nursing operations and the overall performance of the Pediatric Surgical Services team at Oklahoma Children's Hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Surgical Services, this leader will oversee 12 ORs. This leader will oversee daily operations while providing hands-on support to the team and collaborating closely with leadership on the planning and opening of a new cardiac hospital. Ideal candidates will have prior leadership experience within pediatric surgical services and demonstrate strong collaboration skills critical to success in this role. Previous academic medical center experience is preferred.

Requirements

BSN required; Master's degree in healthcare administration, business, or nursing preferred. Active RN required. A minimum of five to seven years of progressive leadership experience within a surgical services environment is required. Prior academic medical center experience is preferred.
