As the Operations Manager, you will lead day-to-day warehouse operations at our Prospect NSW site. Ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant movement of product, and delivering exceptional customer service outcomes. This role plays a critical part in driving operational performance, leading team capability, and supporting supply into high-volume convenience retail networks.

• Lead, direct and coordinate all warehouse activities, including inbound, inventory, and dispatch operations
• Deliver against budget, cost, productivity and service targets
• Monitor, review and continuously improve operational KPIs and processes
• Partner with the General Manager to develop and manage annual site budgets
• Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, and operational standards
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, sanitation, and facility safety
• Lead, coach and develop supervisors and frontline teams
• Manage workforce planning, rostering, performance management, and employee relations
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
• Oversee inventory accuracy, stock control processes, and quality standards (including perishables)
• Coordinate warehouse operations with transport, sales and supply chain functions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulatory requirements
• Investigate incidents, manage workplace safety programs, and support injury management processes

Proven experience in an Operations Manager or senior leadership role within a warehouse or distribution environment. Strong exposure to convenience retail supply chains, with experience supporting networks such as convenience/fuel retail operations. Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience managing supervisors and multi-level teams. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and customer service delivery. Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), RF technology, and labour management tools. Solid understanding of safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Advanced problem-solving, organisational and decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. 3-5 years' leadership experience in warehouse or logistics operations. Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics (preferred).
