The American Red Cross is currently seeking a Content License Support Intern within the Training Services Department. This part-time position is working 15-20 hours a week. This Internship program will run approximately from December 15th – June 12th.
The Training Services Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to gain work experience in a non-profit organization during the Spring 2026 semester. This internship is being created to assist with the rollout of the American Red Cross updates to our Healthcare and Lay Responder programs. Every five years, the science around the delivery of CPR and First Aid are reviewed for both clinical and non-clinical settings. This requires training providers to update our online courseware to reflect any changes to either the delivery of content, or the performance of the skills taught. This position will assist both the LMS Support team as well as the Product teams in delivering our award-winning training content directly to our clients.
This position will help to reveal and foster soft skills related to working with both clients and vendors to assess and resolve issues that may arise, answer any questions around both the technical and procedural aspects of the project, and provide general support. You will also face technical aspects such as building reports using Python3, using public APIs, to ensure that clients are adopting the new courseware, and rolling off of their old version.
Support of web-based content (including Javascript, JSON, CSS, and HTML) will also be used and focused in a real-world environment to provide enterprise-class support to our organizational clients.
