This position is to support BCN station. It is responsible for directing and coordinating airport functions and overseeing daily operations at Barcelona airport. You will support and develop a team in delivering a safe and first-class airport experience to the airline's customers. You will also be responsible for managing operational performance and making tactical and operational decisions.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities include maintaining and promoting a positive health and safety culture in the workplace, handling direct contractors and insourced staff, being responsible for overall airport performance, ensuring excellent customer service, ensuring all staff and contractors are correctly trained, coordinating station audits, representing American Airlines with authorities and contractors, resolving queries and operational matters, conducting risk assessments, attending management and regional meetings, managing emergency procedures drill exercises, coordinating new hires training, and overseeing the delivery of all required contracted security measures.
