Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Part-Time

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–8 students in a special education setting in Santa Ana, California. This in-person role begins ASAP and runs through the full 2025–26 school year. The SLP will perform evaluations, provide therapy services, and manage documentation in alignment with each student's individualized plan of care.

Position Overview

• Location: Santa Ana, CA
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: School day hours, 20–30 hours/week
• Duration: Full school year (9 months)
• Pay Rate: Up to $85/hr (local only; travel not applicable)
• Caseload: 17 students (8 require case management)
• Grade Levels: K–8
• Setting: SPED classroom
• Format: In-person only
• Openings: 1

Responsibilities

• Conduct student evaluations and assessments
• Deliver speech-language therapy services
• Manage documentation and case files for assigned students
• Collaborate with school staff and families

Minimum Requirements

• Active California SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Minimum one year of school-based SLP experience
• CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB screening and health certificate (if applicable)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
