Part-Time School Aide / Paraeducator

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic School Aide / Paraeducator to join our elementary school team in Lakeville, MN. This role involves supporting students with a variety of special needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities

• Support students with special needs in classroom, small group, and one-on-one settings
• Assist teachers with instructional tasks and classroom routines
• Help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Encourage positive behavior and social-emotional growth
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
• Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Minimum of 60 college credits or a passing score on the Paraeducator Exam
• Preferred:
  • Previous experience working in a school setting
  • Experience supporting children with special needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children
• Must pass background checks as required by the school district
