Occupational Therapist (OT) – $60/hr Local | $2,400/wk Travel | Full-Time | La Mesa, CA | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to support three school campuses in La Mesa, CA for the 2025–2026 school year. This role begins ASAP with a contract running 36 weeks, and offers flexibility for in-person or hybrid service delivery.

Position Details:

• Location: La Mesa, CA
• Start Date: September 22, 2025 (or ASAP)
• Duration: 36 weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: ~30/week
• Modality: In-person preferred; hybrid considered
• Pay Rate: $60/hour (local) | $2,400/week (travel)
• Caseload: ~60 students across 3 campuses
• Grade Levels: K–12
• Openings: 1

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise COTA providing most direct services
• Conduct student evaluations and assessments as needed
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to therapy planning
• Maintain documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
• Collaborate with classroom teams and therapy staff

Minimum Requirements:

• Current California OT license
• 1+ year of professional OT experience (preferred)
• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
