Educational Diagnostician
Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking an Educational Diagnostician to assess and diagnose learning problems of students across K–12. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the Diagnostician will help determine placement and provide support for students with learning disabilities.
Position Overview
Location: Shiprock, NM (multiple school sites)
Start Date: December 1, 2025
Duration: 22 weeks
Openings: 1 position available
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week
Modality: School-based, in-person
Interview Process: In-person interviews highly preferred (virtual available if necessary)
Pay Rate: $64/hour (local), $2,437.50 weekly
Responsibilities
Assess and diagnose learning problems for students across K–12
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to determine student placement and support services
Document evaluations and maintain compliance with professional standards
Provide consultation and recommendations to educators and staff
Minimum Requirements
Master's Degree (preferred)
Teaching experience (preferred)
Certification as required by state and/or contract regulations
Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements
Current CPR certification, if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable
Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must be at least 18 years of age
