Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Dolton, IL | $80/hr | Full-Time | 1-Year Contract

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide district-wide coaching and support for students with academic and behavioral needs. This leadership-oriented role begins January 5, 2026 and runs through June 2026, with potential renewal.

Position Overview

  • Location: Dolton, IL
  • Start Date: January 5, 2026
  • End Date: June 2026 (renewable if a good fit)
  • Duration: 1 year contract
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30am–3:30pm | 40 hrs/week
  • Breaks: 30-minute paid lunch plus planning time
  • Pay Rate: $80/hr

Responsibilities

  • Provide district-wide coaching and consultation alongside an RBT
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and school social workers to support student behavior
  • Develop and implement Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Support students with and without IEPs by assisting teachers with strategies
  • Educate, observe, assess, and supervise behavioral service delivery in school settings
  • Focus on building student independence and supporting diverse functional needs

Candidate Profile

  • Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology, or related field
  • Experience providing behavior analytic programs in schools preferred
  • Minimum 1 year pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong competency in BCBA practices with understanding of school environments
  • Open to newer BCBAs; leadership-oriented mindset encouraged
  • Familiarity with high school students and their functional needs
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student backgrounds and school dynamics

Requirements

  • Current BCBA certification (required)
  • Master's degree in ABA, teaching, psychology, or related field
  • Current CPR, TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray, and health certificate (if required)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Minimum age: 18
