Ameren Missouri has been providing electric and gas service for more than 100 years, and our electric rates are among the lowest in the nation. Ameren Missouri's mission is to power the quality of life for our 1.2 million electric and 132,000 natural gas customers in central and eastern Missouri. Our service area covers 64 counties and more than 500 communities including the greater St. Louis area.
The Engineer will participate in the long term planning process across Ameren Missouri. The engineer will perform system studies in the tactical and strategic planning windows to identify opportunities for system investments to improve distribution capacity and reliability. Collaboratively develop projects from initial justification through project approval for optimum electric distribution system development (primarily the 4 and 12kV, circuits and terminal equipment), and provide various technical support for Field Engineering workgroups as requested.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with an emphasis in power, from an accredited college or university required. Other engineering degrees will be considered if the applicant has five or more years of experience working in the electric utility industry. Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification or P.E. (Professional Engineer) registration preferred. Experience in power system analysis, field engineering, or related fields referred.

Compensation Range: $70,200.00 - $105,300.00
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
