Full Job Description

Amentum is continually expanding our opportunities working on prominent defence projects across air, land and sea supporting the critical capabilities that keep Australia safe. We have a growing presence in cyber, space and nuclear programs. We are currently looking for a NV1 cleared Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. The T&E Engineer shall manage the development and approval of the Program Test and Evaluation Plans. They shall review the T&E management deliverables across the Defence projects and act as Chair for the Test and Evaluation Working Group. What will I be doing day to day? Reporting to the Engineering Managers, the T&E Engineer activities include:

• Developing and maintaining Program Test and Evaluation Plans
• Review V&V contract deliverables under the Defence acquisition contracts
• Serve as Chair for the Test & Evaluation Working Group
• Execute Test Procedures and accurate recording of results

What sort of skills do I need?

• NV1 Security Clearance
• Australian government and or Defence experience
• Qualification and/or experience in Systems Engineering and T&E activities
• Experience in Defence Acquisition or Sustainment Projects (highly desirable)
• Understanding of (Defence) Capability Life Cycle management and Engineering Management System
• Strong communication skills
