Supplier Support Analyst I

The Supplier Support Analyst-I provides advanced administrative support for Supplier Management within the Corporate Supply Chain Services organization. These duties can vary within the department. Serves in a supportive role for Deltek Costpoint vendor management and MRO/Supplier Management System.

Principal Accountabilities

The Supplier Support Analyst-I:

• Reviews supplier onboarding documentation and performs input into Deltek Costpoint vendor master for new suppliers and for changes to existing suppliers as per the SLA.
• Reviews Supplier Documents in Supplier Management System (SMS) for compliance and approval.
• Provides support for suppliers/procurement personnel on SMS questions/clarifications.
• Provides SMS technical support: SMS User, Supplier Access, Create User Accounts, PO acknowledgement, Late Line, Online RFQ, Password Resets, etc.
• Reviews Supplier On-boarding process: Initiate Temp ID's in Supplier Registration, Document approvals/rejections, tracking of non-standard document approvals, final approval requests, creation of supplier accounts/contacts.
• Monitors and resolves inquiries submitted through the Supplier Management Support Inbox.
• Supports SMS improvement collaboration.
• Submits Supplier Communications and Coordinates responses as applicable.
• Escalates and analyzes identified issues and concerns to the Team Lead for timely resolution.
• Maintains central vendor file database and assists in obtaining supplier information.
• Processes daily and weekly reports as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

The Supplier Support Analyst-I:

• Reads, writes, and communicates effectively in English.
• Develops and maintains excellent customer relationships.
• Has knowledge in the various functional areas of supply chain and or Vendor Master.
• Has experience working directly with suppliers.
• Has experience in Deltek Costpoint vendor master.
• Has knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and government property accountability procedures.
• Is proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
• Organizes and prioritizes multiple work assignments and works well under pressure.
• Has additional knowledge/skills may be required depending on assignment.

Experience & Education

The Supplier Support Analyst-I:

• Has a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or associated discipline.
• Has two (2) or more years' administrative experience in supplier support, procurement environment or related area.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

The Supplier Support Analyst-I:

• Generally works in a normal office environment.
• Is able to work various shifts which may include evening and weekend hours.
