The Consolidated Operations, Management, Engineering and Test (COMET) contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. These tasks support the International Space Station, Exploration Ground Systems, Space Launch System (SLS), Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle and Launch Services programs. As a member of the Facility Structures Engineering group, you would work directly with engineers responsible for the design and sustaining of new and existing subsystems utilized in support of the Artemis missions. Facility Structures at the Vehicle Assembly Building, Mobile Launcher, and Launch Pad are required to support vehicle processing and launch, the Launch Accessories and Umbilicals that provide the ground to flight interfaces, the Crawler transporter that moves the stacked Mobile Launcher from the Vehicle Assembly Building to the Pad for launch to the cryogenics used to fuel the SLS vehicle.
Responsibilities:
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or technical equivalent from an accredited institution; at least four years of experience.
