Efficiently fuel assigned equipment. Perform the work required in a timely manner and maintain adequate production to meet service schedules.
Installs, maintains, repairs, and inspect the following FSE Assets:
Adjusts/repair pumps, control valves, meters, strainers, filters, water separators, and all other elements of liquid fuel systems.
Makes periodic inspections of fuel bladders, pumping units in compliance with applicable regulations, to detect and correct leakage, corrosion, faulty fittings, and malfunction of mechanical units, meters, gauges, and hoses.
Perform 90- and 180-day inspections FSE assets per regulations, AFI and Technical Orders.
Inspects electrical wiring, switches, and controls for safe operating condition, grounding, and adjustment.
Repairs, replaces, and adjusts malfunctioning equipment to restore operating condition specified in regulations and repair manuals.
Disassembles, adjusts, aligns, calibrates gauges and meters, and perform hydrostatic hose testing.
Maintain and monitor the Shelf-life program for all FSE parts (hoses, valves, seals and any other items or materiel that have a shelf-life requirement)
Perform PMIs and function checks on all equipment to ensure that units are pumping and straining fuel IAW AFIs and Technical Orders.
Perform inventory of RSPs and UTC FSE kits on a semi and annual basis or when directed.
Prep assets for shipment to offsite locations.
Perform Limited Technical Inspections (LTIs) such as Acceptance, Shipment, and Condition on assets arriving or being shipped from the site.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Shop environment in which mechanical equipment is operated, is loud and noisy, and some pieces of equipment have exposed moving components Must be able to exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires the ability to climb, reach, and/or stretch arms, legs, or other parts of body to grasp objects. Physical demand requirements are for medium to heavy work.
