We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Defence Commercial Officer to join a high performing sustainment environment supporting critical capability outcomes. This role is ideal for a commercial or procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-focused setting and is looking to broaden their experience across procurement, financial administration, and contract management.
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth and uninterrupted delivery of goods and services by managing procurement transactions, coordinating supplier engagement, processing payments and supporting a wide range of commercial activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys meaningful work, values accuracy and accountability and is keen to contribute to an essential national program.
- Relevant qualifications in Procurement, Commerce, Business, Contract Management, Finance (or a related discipline)
- SAP ERP experience is essential (ideally gained within Defence or a similarly structured, compliance-driven environment)
- Demonstrated experience in Defence commercial and contract management
- Strong understanding of governance, documentation standards, ASDEFCON-aligned procurement and Commonwealth procurement compliance
- Excellent written communication, analytical capability and stakeholder engagement
