Logistics & Customer Support Associate

The Logistics & Customer Support Associate is based at the Crosby, TX site and reports to the Supply Chain Director. This role supports both customer-facing and site-based logistics activities, including order coordination, inventory tracking, and daily ERP transactions. The position plays an important role in service delivery, supporting plant objectives and adhering to site HSE programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support

  • Attend customer meetings and maintain clear communication with customers and suppliers via email, phone, and shared documents.
  • Provide shipment details, arrival information, and reference numbers, ensuring a professional and timely response across all customer touchpoints.
  • Enter and manage customer orders in the ERP system, including tolling orders, raw material releases, and outbound finished goods.

Logistics Operations

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments by updating the loading schedule, assigning time slots, and communicating with carriers and suppliers.
  • Prepare logistics documentation bundles including Bills of Lading (BOLs), Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and other required shipping and receiving paperwork.
  • Maintain ERP accuracy by updating ship dates, receipt ETAs, and inventory transactions; perform ERP entries in customer systems when needed.
  • Participate in weekly MRP reviews and work with the Production Scheduler to align production, shipping, and receiving schedules.
  • Monitor physical and system inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation of both customer-owned and ALTIVIA raw materials.

Qualifications:

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic math calculations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a business-related field preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards)
  • Prior work or internship in logistics, manufacturing, or order fulfillment

Location: Crosby, TX Reports To: Supply Chain Director Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 (Final offer depends on experience and may not reach the top of the range)
