Job Description

We're looking for pragmatic, self-sufficient SREs with a solid software engineering principles and how to apply them to solve complex infrastructure-related problems. You should be the kind of person who automates first, understands the big picture, and can work alongside developers to enable velocity without sacrificing stability or security.

This is not a runbook-following role. We're interested in builders and problem solvers who can:

• Design and build custom solutions when existing tools fall short.
• Think critically about systems, scalability, and resilience.
• Work cross-functionally with developers and product teams.
• Potentially grow into Developer Experience (DevEx) roles in the future.

Qualifications

• Strong Kubernetes experience – understanding how to deploy and maintain production-grade clusters and workloads. Self-hosted is a bonus.
• Infrastructure as Code – Pulumi (TypeScript), Terraform, Ansible. You should be comfortable building systems from the ground up.
• CI/CD pipelines – debugging, improving, and automating them end-to-end.
• Cloud platforms – deep experience in Azure (preferable), AWS or GCP will be fine too.
• Infrastructure automation – not just scripts - reusable, scalable solutions. Pieces of software that fits into our ecosystem of automations that are primarily code
• Golang and/or Python – software engineering experience matters; scripting alone isn't enough.
• Proficiency in the English language (B2+/C1 level).
• Mindset – We believe that infrastructure problems are best solved by applying software engineering principles, not just simple bash scripts.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 27001, SOC2) and integrating security from day one.
• Prior experience embedded with or supporting development teams as DevOps or SRE.
• Broad understanding of system performance, observability, and incident response processes.

• Able to push back on unnecessary complexity and suggest practical alternatives.
• Forward-thinking, but grounded in operational reliability.

Additional Information

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw; Long-term cooperation (2+ years); Type of contract: B2B; Rate: Depends on candidate's experience and expectations.
