Technical Operations & Innovation Engineer (m/w/d) - Remote Eligible

Wir suchen jemanden, der technische Innovationen nicht nur beobachtet, sondern aktiv in unsere Infrastruktur integriert. Der Freude daran hat, Developer Experience neu zu denken und unser Development Team in der täglichen Zusammenarbeit technisch voranzubringen.

Du unterstützt das Team rund um Infrastruktur, DevOps und technische Automatisierung. Ein besonders wichtiger Bestandteil deiner Rolle ist die enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Team Lead: Du hilfst beim Vorbereiten technischer Entscheidungen, beim Rapid Prototyping und bei der Einführung neuer Tools – insbesondere AI-basierter Lösungen.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop Our Infrastructure – You build our deployment environments and automate where it improves stability, speed, and transparency in everyday life.
• Shape The DevOps Culture – You are responsible for CI/CD, observability, and security issues in the team’s daily routine and ensure smooth operations.
• Be A Sparring Partner For The Team Lead – You work closely with the team lead on a daily basis, e.g., on architecture topics, workflows, and current operational issues.
• Validate Innovations Pragmatically – You use rapid prototyping to quickly test new ideas and technologies and evaluate their usefulness for us.
• Drive AI Tools Forward – You introduce new AI solutions, accompany the onboarding, and empower your colleagues through training and best practices.

You bring solid experience in software development and feel at home in platform engineering. More important than any certificate are your personal strengths:

What You Also Bring:

• At least 8 years of professional experience in software development and demonstrable experience in full-stack web development (web technologies, backend & frontend)
• Several years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering and experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring/observability systems, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Puppet, Terraform, etc.)
• Experience with workflow automation and AI tools (required)
• Very good German and English skills
