Duties and Responsibilities:
-Greets the patient and courteously ask for his/her complaints.
-Schedule upcoming appointments and confirm scheduled appointments every day.
-Identify patients by requesting their national ID/ Iqama and patient full name.
-Ask for a type of coverage (Cash, Insurance, Aramco). If the patient is Insurance, to check eligibility of coverage at the supported platforms.
-Scans patient Identification and enter it in the patient electronic record.
-Create new patient file for clinic visit.
-Charge services entered by the physician.
-Provides assistance to the patient whenever needed for location of Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology department and other areas in the hospital.
-Schedule re appointments or refer the patients to another clinic upon receiving notice from the clinician that he/she will not be available at the due appointment time.
-Answer department Telephone/Phone calls and texts, using correct salutations and telephone etiquette.
-Ask patients if they need to Print invoice bills.
-Receiving or replaying an email from our department regarding updating information.
-Discuss cost of service, insurance coverage and payment options with patients.
-Work as a team player to ensure patient receive the best service.
-Maintain quality service.
-Maintain a clean and neat reception area.
-Informing patients about delays and the approximate waiting time.
-Follow orders from superior.
-Professional manner and appearance.
-Updating and verifying patient information at every visit.
-Respect patient rights by maintaining their confidentiality.
-Data entry tasks that are related to the provided services.
-Provide personalized coordinated care, and support for staff and families.
-Treat people with dignity, compassion, and respect despite their religion, color and background.
Qualifications:
-Diploma /Bachelor's degree.
Professional Experience:
-At least 1year experience working as a receptionist.
-Typing skill and computer knowledge is essential.
