Key Position Details:

1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period)

8-hour day/evening shifts

Occasional weekend rotation

Job Description:

In the operating room, provides basic indirect patient care in support of a large multispecialty quaternary operating room as delegated. Providing clean, well stocked surgical suite, with case carts and appropriate equipment for the room. Supports the operating room staff in lifting, positioning, transporting patients. Returns used equipment and supplies to appropriate area for reprocessing. Cleans operating room after every procedure.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Supports care of the procedural patient
• Facilitates operating room turnover
• Handles sterile supplies and instruments according established standards
• Participates in maintaining safe environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Nursing Assistant, Central Processing/Case Cart or other patient care experience

Licenses/Certifications:

• Must meet at least one of the requirements below:
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross
• Allina in-house BLS training (within 90 days of hire)

Physical Demands:

• Medium Work:
• Lifting weight up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently

Pay Range:

$21.29 to $27.86 per hour The pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
