As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols across assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter potential security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service to everyone on site. You will be instrumental in upholding a welcoming atmosphere, responding to inquiries with professionalism, and assisting with security-related matters as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities or access.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns within the location, including areas related to technology, media, and telecommunications.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, providing assistance as needed while maintaining Allied Universal standards.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and observations in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with site management and/or local law enforcement as directed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
