Security Officer - Armed Access Control

As a Security Officer - Armed Access Control in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. In this armed position, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for employees and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the location, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License

Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Must participate in industry-specific security-related training programs

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
