As a Security Guard - Healthcare Screening Desk in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Tue 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed in a healthcare environment.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare settings.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials, and monitor entry points to the facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel to support a secure healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
