As a Security Officer - Patrol Support in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent food and beverage location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and interact with individuals in a professional and approachable manner. What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Monitor the location for unusual activity and report findings according to company protocols.
- Assist employees and visitors by providing guidance and support as needed within the food and beverage processing environment.
- Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns specific to the location.

Minimum Requirements:
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
