As a Security Officer - Patrol Support in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent food and beverage location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and interact with individuals in a professional and approachable manner. Pay Rate: $14.68 / Hour

Day Time Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor the location for unusual activity and report findings according to company protocols.
• Assist employees and visitors by providing guidance and support as needed within the food and beverage processing environment.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns specific to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
