Job Description

As a Security Officer - Operations Dispatch in Maiden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location as a Dispatch Officer, supporting day-to-day security-related operations through clear communication and quick coordination. You will monitor activity, manage radio and phone traffic, track incidents, and help route officers to priority needs while supporting access control and visitor processing. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to client employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Operate the dispatch center by monitoring alarms, CCTV, and/or other systems; answer calls for service; prioritize incidents; and coordinate officer response using radio and/or phone communication.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
• Document incidents, calls for service, and shift activity in daily logs and incident reports, supporting accurate communication across shifts and client contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, work areas, and perimeter as assigned, reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate parties to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
