As a Screener with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors, patients, and staff. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting security-related screenings to help to deter potential incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while assisting individuals as they enter the facility. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Day Time

Tue 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

Sat 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access, following established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies and/or disturbances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control and visitor management processes as required by the location.
• Support emergency response activities and follow site-specific emergency procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
