As Team Leader Engineering for the Rijnland Region, you will be part of the Management Team for Engineering, Space & Law, reporting to the Manager for Engineering, Space & Law. The Engineering, Space & Law department has fourteen teams that design projects for investment, maintenance, and outages for Liander and TenneT. With the energy transition, we have a lot of work to manage, and we are looking for you to guide this in the Rijnland region.

You are responsible for the development of your employees, supporting the development of professional disciplines, and developing the department as a whole. You will lead a team of 20 to 25 technical employees who all understand their profession. You will work closely with your fellow team leaders to complete the workload and ensure the deployment of external parties where necessary.

We are creating the energy grid of the future for everyone, with everyone. As Team Leader Engineering, you will contribute to this. You will be involved in:

• Delivering designs, drafting advice, and guiding the realization.
• Ensuring good coordination and cooperation with other teams in the region.
• Maintaining relationships and conducting conversations to reach solutions even in challenging situations.
• Collaborating on strategic themes within the Engineering, Space & Law department.
• Optimizing the overall business operations and contributing to the improvement of the Engineering, Space & Law department.

• Higher education or academic work and thinking level.
• Leadership skills: motivating, connecting, listening, and giving feedback.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in coaching highly educated employees from different generations.
• Advisory skills, persuasiveness, and organizational sensitivity and analytical ability.
• Affinity with the electricity field.
• Communicative and coaching skills.

For you, everything is better arranged

For this, you will receive based on a 40-hour workweek:

• A salary of €5,206 to €7,437 gross per month (scale 10) depending on your work experience.
• An annual individual choice budget (IKB) of 18% (full-time) or 12.8% (part-time) of your gross annual salary. This includes 8% holiday allowance. You can choose to have this amount paid out, but you can also buy extra days off with it. You choose what suits you.
• 24.5 vacation days per year, easily supplemented from your IKB.
• An end-of-year allowance in December of 6% of your annual salary.
• An annual DI budget of €500 for your sustainable employability. Choose, for example, a reimbursement of your sports hobby, the durabilization and greening of your home, or the relief of your study debt with DUO. You decide where your budget goes.
• Pension accumulation with ABP, specifically for the government and education. We pay 70% of your pension premium.
