As a Senior Data Engineer, you will ensure a future-proof data structure that helps in making strategic decisions. You will work in the scrum team business platform data, part of Business Platforms. Here we provide internal and external consumers with data products in accordance with DataMesh principles. We are making the energy grid of the future for everyone, with everyone. And as a Senior Data Engineer, you will contribute to this. This means you are involved in:

1. Developing and maintaining data connections between Snowflake and source systems such as SAP with Matillion.
2. Building data products according to FAIR and data mesh principles and publishing in Atlan.
3. Improving data solutions in close collaboration with the data owner and the data consumers.
4. Contributing to data quality and optimizing data sharing.
5. Developing according to the BRO principle: you build it, you run it, you own it.

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a data engineer with in-depth knowledge of SQL.
• Extensive experience with Snowflake and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling according to the Kimball model.
• Experience with ETL tools preferably Matillion.
• Experience in developing solutions based on 'security by design'.

For this, you will receive based on a 40-hour workweek:

• a salary of € 5,310 to € 7,585 gross per month (scale 10).
• Annually an individual choice budget (IKB) of 18% (full-time) or 12.8% (part-time) of your gross annual salary. This includes 8% holiday allowance. You can have this amount paid out, but you can also buy extra days off with it. You choose what suits you.
• 24.5 vacation days per year, ample to supplement from your IKB.
• An end-of-year allowance in December of 6% of your annual salary.
• Every year a DI budget of € 700 for your sustainable employability. Choose, for example, for a reimbursement of your sport or hobby, the durabilization and greening of your home, or the relief of your study debt with DUO. You decide where your budget goes.
• A pension build-up with ABP, special for the government and education. We pay 70% of your pension premium.
