Junior Tracé Engineer

In a project team, you work on the design of mid- and high-voltage connections from 20kV to 150kV. That is what you do as a junior engineer for cable connections. Together with colleagues, you are responsible for the high quality of designs for customers. To achieve this, you consult with the contractor, contractors, and colleagues. You evaluate the costs made and the completed projects. Thanks to you, each design meets the right requirements. We make the energy network of the future for everyone, with everyone. And as a junior engineer for cable connections, you contribute to this. This is what you do:

• Checking if each design meets the highest safety requirements.
• Designing a cable route in public space or on a high-voltage substation by using technical standards.
• Drafting a cable specification and civil specification.
• Collecting the right data on disturbances.
• Drafting a preliminary calculation by means of cost engineering tools.

• Minimum an HBO degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, or energy technology.
• Experience with project-based work in multidisciplinary project teams.
• Knowledge of designing in AutoCAD, knowledge of QGIS is a plus.

For this, you will receive based on a 40-hour workweek:

• A salary of € 3,584.86 to €5,121.23 gross per month (scale 7).
• An annual individual choice budget (IKB) of 18% (full-time) or 12.8% (part-time) of your gross annual salary. This is inclusive of 8% holiday allowance. You can have this amount paid out, but you can also buy extra days off with it, for example. You choose what suits you.

• Every year a DI-budget of €500 for your sustainable employability. Choose, for example, for a reimbursement of your sports hobby, the sustainability and greening of your home, or the relief of your study debt with DUO. You decide where your budget goes.
• A pension build-up at ABP, special for the government and education. We pay 70% of your pension premium.
