SVP of Medical Services

The SVP of Medical Services will oversee the clinical operations and medical services of Alliance Healthcare Services. This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services, developing and implementing medical policies and procedures, and providing leadership to the medical staff. The SVP of Medical Services will work closely with the CEO and other senior management to align medical services with the organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Oversight: Provide clinical supervision and oversight to advanced practice providers (e.g., Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants), including chart review, co-signature of documentation as required, and ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.
• Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update medical policies and procedures.
• Staff Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to medical staff, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Program Development: Design and implement healthcare programs that meet the needs of the community served by the organization.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
• Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the medical department's budget.
• Community Engagement: Represent the organization in community outreach and partnership activities.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on medical services and outcomes to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team.

Qualifications:

• Education: Medical degree from an accredited institution. Board certified in Psychiatry preferred.
• Licensure: Medical license and valid DEA registration in the state of Tennessee.
• Experience: 10 years of clinical experience and 5 years in a leadership role.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
