IT Systems Development Support Analyst

Alleima USA LLC is looking for an IT Systems Development Support Analyst in Clarks Summit PA.

We are seeking an experienced IT System Analyst / Integration Specialist to join our IT Demand Delivery Area. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our company’s various business units, providing crucial development support to manufacturing production and office operations. Your responsibilities will encompass defining, integrating, maintaining, and optimizing IT systems to enhance efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document system requirements, ensuring they align with manufacturing processes and business goals.
• Develop and/or configure IT systems and applications tailored to manufacturing needs, incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure systems are reliable, efficient, and meet specified requirements.
• Assist with and support the integration of new systems with existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless implementation and minimal disruption to operations.
• Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for manufacturing IT systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing necessary updates and improvements.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in manufacturing system development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the manufacturing IT landscape.
• Other day-to-day assignments as issued by Alleima Management and travel up to 5% of the time.

Required Competences

Proficiency in development for IBMi and IBMi concepts, ETL, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and meticulous attention to detail is essential. Previous experience in IT within the manufacturing industry and RPG, Rational Developer or VS Code, SQL, CL, and .NET, SOAP/REST, JSON/XML/XSLT, PowerBI and experience with Infor systems or Hexagon EAM is strongly preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in the Information Technology field.
