Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Leader - Carmel, IN
The AME Leader is responsible for executing the global manufacturing strategy for all manufacturing locations, laboratories and test facilities as business demands within Allegion subsidiaries around the world. The position is responsible for the development and optimization of processes to ensure manufacturing strategies play books, road maps and investments to best satisfy our customers' needs while effectively utilizing Allegion assets. The position will be focused on fabrication processes, assembly, manufacturing automation, process digitization, electronic test support, process standardization and best in class performance through the implementation of standard work and best practice leverage in different areas such as maintenance and new product development/introduction while ensuring the core manufacturing processes and company assets are effectively utilized.

What You Will Do:
- Supports large capital investment initiatives within operations, including the identification, evaluation, and business case justification of new technologies
- Execute and support global manufacturing strategy, including transition and footprint initiatives, create and maintain capacity and utilization plans
- Lead/Support facility (consolidations/start-ups) / product / process transitions and process optimization
- Partners with manufacturing facilities to enable them to run more efficiently.
- Support, develop and implement fabrication and assembly processes with appropriate automation
- Support manufacturing/operations through process digitization, manufacturing 4.0 implementations
- Ensure new products are released with adequate levels of manufacturability, participates in critical NPD projects
- Supports mergers and acquisitions by properly evaluating target risks within operations.
- TPM, support on site implementation and follow up for Americas sites.
- Collaborates with Procurement to implement make vs. buy processes, assessments, and/or playbooks.
- Understands and anticipates trends within manufacturing to implement new technology/capability as needed.
- Act as a champion of Total Productive Maintenance across machinery, tools and facilities.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- BS / ME / EE / B Eng. degree in engineering, or a related field
- Master's degree in a relevant field preferred
- Industrial, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Electronics background
- 5-10 Years total combined relevant integrated supply chain experience
- 5+ year's relevant AME experience preferred
Proven experience of:
- Core – non-core evaluation
- Capacity and utilization analysis
- Cost Analysis, including Make vs. buy
- New Products Introductions
- Total Productive Maintenance
- Capital Investment Management
- Facility relocations (Greenfield, Brown Field, Relocation, Decommissioning)
- Operations Management, Project / Program Management
- Data Analytics and Analysis
Demonstrated:
- Understanding of global materials management and supply chain / logistics Management
- Understanding of manufacturing engineering processes and trends
- Capability to manage multiple global projects
- Demonstrated project leadership skills (ability to lead and motivate others at multiple levels of the organization)
- Experience and demonstrated results improving manufacturing footprint utilization / rationalization
- Demonstrated drive for results working in a global matrix organization
- Demonstrated influencing, relationship building, teamwork and collaboration skills at all levels of the organization
