About the Role

As a Process Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our manufacturing operations—optimising processes, improving efficiency, and driving innovation across extrusion, fabrication, and compounding. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technical excellence and lead projects that enhance performance and product quality.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Understand and analyse process variables to improve product characteristics
  • Optimise manufacturing parameters from raw material to final packaging
  • Lead troubleshooting and implement solutions to reduce downtime and scrap
  • Define SOPs and best practices for extrusion line setup and shutdown
  • Support and develop Shift Technicians, providing clear technical guidance
  • Own and deliver improvement projects aligned with key KPIs (OEE, Scrap, Overweight)
  • Collaborate with HSE, Quality, CI, Engineering, and Maintenance teams
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce new technologies

What We're Looking For

  • Deep understanding of polymers and extrusion processes
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with CI methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Ishikawa)
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels
  • Project management capability and a proactive mindset
  • IT proficiency (Microsoft Suite essential; Power BI and advanced Excel a plus)
  • Open to change and passionate about continuous improvement
