Personal Lines Account Manager

Alera Group is looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

Responsibilities

  • Support agency processes, procedures, and best practices; actively participate in internal meetings and agency initiatives
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding decision processes, goals, and expectations, achieving 94–98% client retention
  • Conduct proactive account reviews, ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Leverage technology, tools, and IT resources to maximize efficiency and enhance team performance
  • Provide exceptional client service—designing, presenting, and implementing comprehensive insurance and risk management solutions
  • Identify growth opportunities, cross-sell additional products and services, and seek referrals to expand client relationships
  • Commit to professional development, collaboration, and continuous improvement through training, feedback, and process optimization

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Preferred
  • Insurance Producer License
  • Personal lines account management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of markets, policies and products and shares information with peers
  • Excellent listening skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Problem solver

Additional Information

This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.

Salary range is $58K to 75K per year, based on experience.
