Overview:
As a Senior Frontend Engineer in Aleph Alpha’s Financial Services & Insurance (FSI) department, you will lead the development of robust, scalable, and intuitive user interfaces for our AI-driven applications for financial institutions. Your expertise will shape solutions that address systemic market challenges, using modern frameworks like Vue.js to deliver seamless, high-performance experiences aligned with regulatory and security standards.

Your responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of the efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code, using VueJS.
Collaborate with design and product to translate complex product requirements into technical solutions.
Work alongside backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of front-end components with APIs and other services.
Advocate for code quality, best practices and performance optimizations.
Your profile:
Experience in front-end engineering, preferably in fast-paced environments.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and state-of-the-art frameworks (VueJS preferred, experience with other frameworks is still a plus).
You have a solid software engineering background with a focus on writing clean and pragmatic code, as well as integration with backend services.
You enjoy collaborating with design and product stakeholders.
You are interested in Generative AI use cases and the critical role that human interaction plays when developing new solutions.
