Operator III, Production Technical Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path)

This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. The Operator III, Production Technical Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for handling complex tasks in production operations, including equipment setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will manage resources, monitor quality, and ensure adherence to procedures.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Handle complex manual or operational tasks to ensure smooth and efficient processes
  • Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment
  • Manage resources and schedules to meet specifications, schedules, and quality standards
  • Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods
  • Monitor output quality to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
  • Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis
  • Make significant decisions requiring advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations for business alignment
  • Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate documentation

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • Location: Onsite
  • Travel Requirements: 0 – 10%
  • Relocation Assistance: None

  • Schedule: 4:00am-4:00pm Monday-Wednesday and every other Thursday
