✨ About The Role
- Responsible for updating and refining link budgets for all system communication links
- Leading procurement and delivery of communications equipment from suppliers
- Fielding real-time emulation of Radio-to-Ground, Ground-to-Radio software interfaces
- Identifying and communicating technical, cost, and schedule risks and issues for communication systems
- Collaborating with the engineering team to address mechanical, software, thermal, and power interfaces
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced in X-band Gbps-class microsatellite-sized communications systems, modulations, and challenges
- Skilled in software-defined radios and DVB-S2 modulations
- Proficient in defining and leading RF testing campaigns for satellite systems
- Capable of delivering within cost- and schedule-constrained efforts
- Knowledgeable in analog and RF circuit design, as well as standard physical layers for digital communication
