- The Principal GNC/ACS Engineer will lead the development of modern optimization-based solutions for spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control.
- Responsibilities include modeling and developing low jitter, fine pointing image scan maneuvers and analyzing them for induced image motion.
- The role involves developing detailed error budgets and line-of-sight simulations to ensure mission success.
- The engineer will work on vehicle control system instrumentation, avionics, and flight control software.
- Coordination with test personnel for various testing methods of control systems is a key aspect of the job.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have 7-12+ years of experience in Guidance Navigation & Control (GNC) or Attitude Control Systems (ACS).
- A strong background in scanning remote sensing control systems is essential, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Candidates should possess strong technical fundamentals in attitude knowledge, control, and pointing stability.
