Classified Position - Lunchroom Worker
Lunchroom Worker (8 hour):
Must be in good health and possess the physical ability to handle the job assigned. Must be able to work productively with coworkers as a team to complete tasks. Must provide friendly service and promote a positive work atmosphere. Must be able and willing to lift, bend, stoop, walk, carry, lift and/or carry 45 pounds, and reach overhead. Must demonstrate aptitude for successful performance of the tasks assigned. Prior food service or related work experience preferred. Must be willing to acquire continuing education hours for professional development. Must be willing to attend summer workshops. Such alternatives to the above listed qualifications may be acceptable if determined appropriate by the Board of Education. NOTE: Shifting enrollments and varying conditions may require location changes from time to time. Additional duties may be assigned.
**Applicants selected for certified positions must have undergone an ABI/FBI criminal history background check (fingerprinting administered through sites selected and approved by the WCBOE and State of Alabama Education Department) and been declared suitable and fit to teach under state law.
