Learn more about THAAD As a THAAD Systems Engineer, your responsibilities may include:

  • Software development for a hi-fidelity simulation (C, C++, Fortran, and Python)
  • Software development for a med-fi simulation (C, C++)
  • Write development documentation
  • Software re-factoring for legacy software architecture
  • Debug issues during integration testing
  • Write unit test procedures for software change request (SCR) verification
  • Linux operating system and compiler updates

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with software development/Models & Simulation
  • Experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Fortran, and Python
  • Active or Current SECRET clearance; US Citizenship

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or other related program degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Experience with Agile methods
  • Work in a team environment
  • Experience with GitLab
  • Experience with Linux operating system and compiler
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (word, powerpoint, excel)
  • Experience with Modeling and Simulation software development
  • Communication Skills
  • Experience with Fortran
  • Open GL
  • Unix/Linux scripting

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

  • Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
  • Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
  • Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
