Enterprise Systems in the Office of Information Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Campus Web Solutions (CWS) development team. The successful candidate will create new web applications and maintain existing ones, contributing to the University's mission through high-quality software solutions. Working onsite is a requirement of the job. The ideal candidate applies systems thinking, possesses superior interpersonal and communication skills, is self-motivated, and is a life-long learner.

Essential Functions:

• Peer code reviews
• Ensure Quality Assurance standards
• Assist creating, publishing, and migrating applications
• Enforce SQL best practices
• Create .NET applications using C#
• Develop and integrate AI solutions to enhance application functionality and user experience

Breakdown of Essential Functions:

• 50% .NET developer support: Create, publish, and migrate sites on the IIS environment. including documentation, code repository experience, and peer code reviews.
• 30% Client Interactions from weekly updates to the clients on their projects and hyper-care after delivery.
• 10% Reviewing statements of work to ensure enough detail is present for design.
• 10% New Technologies: Spend time exploring new and emerging technologies/trends in the market. For example, Azure and AI Development.

Minimum Qualifications:

The Systems Engineer (CWS) position is posted at two levels.

Associate Systems Engineer:

• High school diploma and 8 years of relevant experience OR
• Associates degree and 4 years of experience OR
• Bachelors degree and 0 years of experience.

Systems Engineer:

• High school diploma and 11 years of relevant experience OR
• Associates degree and 7 years of experience OR
• Bachelors degree and 3 years of experience.
