Job Description: L3Harris Aerojet Rocketdyne is a world-recognized aerospace and defense leader providing propulsion and energetics to its space, missile defense, strategic, tactical missile and armaments customers throughout domestic and international markets. The company offers a complete line of propulsion products for launch vehicles, missile defense, tactical and advanced hypersonic propulsion.
Bachelor of Science degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior Mechanical Design experience. Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior Mechanical Design experience. In lieu of degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior Mechanical Design experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with CAD software tools (CREO), and PLM Systems (Windchill). Familiar with ASME Y14.5. Active US Secret Clearance is preferred. Knowledge of solid propulsion systems design and manufacturing methods. Knowledge and experience in strategic booster motors, tactical rocket motors, and/or controllable solid propulsion systems is preferred.
