As a Software Engineering Manager within PNC's Business Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

• Oversee all system upgrades, enhancement, and issues for our HR Talent application portfolio. Manages the design, implementation, delivery, and support of all related changes to this portfolio, or in support of other business or technical areas that have a dependency on any of these Talent solutions.

• Manage a team of BSAs, developers, and quality engineers providing oversight, guidance, and performance management to drive individual and team success.

• Serves as subject matter expert for all applications supporting our HR Talent business functions.

• Ensure data security, compliance, integrity, testing of system changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

• Serve as a strong consultative partner to business and functional leaders to continuously improve service delivery.

Skills/Abilities:

• Strong understanding of SaaS solution, modern technology, and vendor management
• Extensive experience working with other teams for integrations and solutions
• Experience with implementing large-scale technology projects, prior HR system experience preferred
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices

• Oversee the talent management of engineering talent, including recruiting, mentoring, and enabling a culture of learning with a focus on engineering craftsmanship.

• Foster technological innovation, ensuring adoption of current trends, capabilities, and practices emerging in the market. Encourage sound technology choices are made and drive innovative technology architecture and solution design.

• Identify issues, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

Work Experience:

• Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.

• Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required.

Pay Transparency:

Base Salary: $80,000.00 – $192,050.00 Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
