Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. This position involves performing routine maintenance and inspections on plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. You will also operate mobile and plant equipment as needed to support production, assist with plant clean-up, material handling, and general labor tasks, troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in coordination with maintenance teams, and follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

We are looking for someone with demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operations, commitment to working safely and following established procedures, ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed, and physical capability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.

The successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. The role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
