Job Opportunity: Helpdesk Technician

Our client is looking to bring on two individuals to their team on a three-month contract to take some of the workload off of their current service desk team that will be helping out with an ERP upgrade. They are looking for someone that has worked in a helpdesk or call center environment providing remote technical support to end users. The ticketing system they use is Cherwell and this individual will be receiving roughly 30-45 calls per day ranging from password reset issues to email internet connectivity issues. It is very important that this individual provides excellent customer service while resolving these tickets. This team has an 89% first call resolution so they would like to stay close to that. They will have to work onsite from 8-5 M-F.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical understanding of how computers work and can troubleshoot.
  • Experience in both Genesis for their calls and CherWell as their ticketing system is beneficial.
  • Quick on their feet when it comes to troubleshooting- if they don't know anything they should be able to find it.
  • Need to be empathetic. Working with hospitals and doctors - great personality and culture fit is important.

Job Type & Location: This is a contract position based out of Birmingham, AL.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
