Food Service/Custodians Substitutes Needed

Alabaster and Shelby County needs Food Service and Custodians Substitutes! We are hiring substitutes for many roles within Alabaster and Shelby County School District. Substituting is an excellent opportunity to be a mentor and help students become the best versions of themselves. Substitutes are essential in ensuring students continue to learn and grow every day. Minimum requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current resume

Pay for substitute:

• Food Service- $13.50/hour- Shelby County
• Food Service- $15.00/hour- Alabaster
• Custodians: $12.50/hour- Shelby County
• Custodian: $15.00/hour- Alabaster

Responsibilities for Custodial Workers:

• Assume duties of the district custodian in accordance with school district rules, and Kelly policies
• Comply with school Safety Manual Rules and Regulations and OSHA requirements
