We're looking for experienced full-stack developers to help evolve Oracle's application development platform capabilities. In this position, you will be part of Oracle Visual Builder Studio, a robust application development platform that helps customer development teams effectively plan and manage their work throughout all stages of the app dev lifecycle: design, build, test, and deploy. This multifaceted tool has a wide variety of user groups, including:

  • Oracle Cloud Applications administrators, who need to customize Oracle's SaaS applications to meet their business needs.
  • Low-code developers, who want to create responsive applications using a visual designer and deploy them to our host service, Visual Builder.
  • Experienced programmers, who want to modify the source code for applications created by others, or to develop bespoke apps using the web programming language of their choice.

Responsibilities

As a part of our team, you will design and deliver high-quality features with the capabilities, scalability, and performance required to meet the needs of enterprise customers. The qualified candidate has proven experience in designing and developing software solutions to solve real-world business problems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience delivering and operating large software systems at scale.
  • Proficient in Java and familiarity in at least one of the following languages: Python, Linux shell scripting.
  • Experience building scalable, cloud native distributed systems.
  • Experience developing service-oriented architectures and web services solutions.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Understanding of REST Architecture and JSON.
  • Able to effectively communicate technical ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with production operations and best practices for putting quality code in production and troubleshoot issues when they arise.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AI driven development and use of AI applications.
  • Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Terraform, Containerized Development, Kubernetes, Authentication and Authorization with Identity Systems, Distributed Logging, Application Security.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following tools: Git, Maven, Swagger, Chef.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only. US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
